Professor of Leadership at EdHec Business School France, Director and Principal Coach Trainer

Professor Julia Milner is an award winning practitioner and an award winning academic in the area of leadership development and coaching. She has extensive experience as Business Coach and Management Consultant – working with several large consultancies and international companies in Australia and Europe.

She designed and facilitated several ‘Managers as Coaches’ as well as Mentoring programs and looks at creating high performing organisational cultures, particularly Coaching Cultures. As a Business Coach she works with individuals and groups.

She is an Associate Professor in Organisational Psychology in China, a Visiting Professor at a Business School in Finland, an Honorary Associate Professor at a Business School in Australia, an Honorary Recognised Teacher at a University in the UK and she is teaching for an MBA program in Germany/France. With international teaching experience in a range of disciplines (management, psychology, education, marketing, coaching, and communication) and across different student cohorts (undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA and academic staff) Julia has worked with more than 10 Universities. Having published academic and professional articles as well as five books she is involved in research projects in the area of Leadership as well as Organisational Cultures.

Julia has worked or studied in Germany, North America, Canada, Spain, Belgium, Finland, China, France, Great Britain and Australia. She has received several awards including a German Coaching Award in 2010, a Vice-Chancellor’s Award for outstanding Contribution to Teaching and Learning from the University of Wollongong in 2012, an Endeavour Australia-Europe Award by the Australian Minister of Education and Training, as well as an Oxford Internet Institute and Berkman Center of Harvard University doctoral summer school scholarship.

Julia’s qualifications include: PhD (Communications), MA (Business, Communication, Law), MA (Business Coaching and Change Management), MA (Professional Education and Training), BA equivalent (Business, Communication, Law), Grad. Cert. (Coaching and Facilitation), Grad. Cert. (Higher Education).

Leonie has a Master of Business Coaching from the University of Wollongong, and is a certified Realise2 strengths and MBTI practitioner. Leonie draws on a 30 year career as a leadership, communications and sales trainer. Leonie also designs and presents mentoring and graduate recruitment programs for corporate clients and facilitates organisation-wide initiatives to access talent in SMEs and high-value training for the public sector.

Dr Trenton Milner assists organisations with their Business Strategy, Marketing Planning and Operational Finance via one-on-one consulting, executive team workshops and strategic organisational assessments & implementation.

Dr Milner started his career as engineer building bridges in Australia, then moved to London to become an investment banker for Goldman Sachs, The Bank of New York and Deutsche Bank before embarking on his journey as an academic and management consultant in the area of Marketing, Strategy and Innovation in Europe and Australia. Trenton is a Visiting Professor in Marketing at a Business School in Europe and also lectures and researches in the area if Finance, Marketing, Strategy and Innovation in Australia.

Trenton obtained his doctoral degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Behavioural Finance & Marketing Communications and holds Honours in Engineering (Civil), a Bachelor of Commerce (Mkt & Acc) and a Bachelor of Engineering.

Simon Covill is an experienced coach, facilitator, consultant and award-winning communicator to CEOs, leaders and teams on organisational and leadership capability, culture and change.

Simon particularly focuses on coaching leaders and managers to enhance their informal coaching skills to drive engagement and development in the workplace. In 2015, Simon was recognised with an award for team leadership development at the City of Sydney.

Simon is qualified with Master Business Coaching with Distinction (University of Wollongong Sydney Business School) and Graduate Certificates in Change Management (UNSW AGSM) and Virtual Communication (RMIT).

Simon is a globally accredited business communicator (ABC) and is a regular writer, conference speaker and workshop facilitator in the Asia Pacific and has been a guest lecturer and tutor at Macquarie University.

Simon has been awarded International IABC awards for communication excellence and leadership and received the PRIA 2010 Golden Target Award – Merger & Acquisitions – for maintaining a strong, independent profile for St. George following its merger with Westpac.
